Cattle Breeds and History from 1864
Cattle Breeds and History From 1864 is an interesting work about the
cattle breeds that were believed to be most important for the times.
This work was first published in 1864 and has been out of print for a
number of years but we were able to recapture it from Public Domain material and make it available for you in
modern day format.
You may agree or disagree that the breeds represented are actually the
most important ones available but you will enjoy visiting the time frame and comparing it to today's breeds. I
enjoyed some of the comments as to breed size and caught myself wondering how many upsizing and downsizing cycles
has occurred since then.
The links shown below will take you directly to each section. You can also
go the the Cattle Breeds and Cattle History page and follow the links at the bottom of each page to the next
section. Thanks for visiting and we hope you enjoy our work.
